New leaks from ex-Military Intelligence chief Aharon Haliva claim Netanyahu ignored repeated warnings of war before October 7.

Former head of Israel’s Military Intelligence Directorate (Aman), Aharon Haliva, has been heard in newly leaked audio recordings, broadcast by Israel’s Channel 12, revealing that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had received prior warnings about the possibility of war before October 7, 2023.

The recordings include candid admissions and scathing criticism of how the war was managed after October 7, placing direct responsibility on Netanyahu and his government.

Haliva recalled that, during protests against the government’s judicial overhaul, he addressed the Knesset about the risk of war, stressing that Israel faced serious strategic threats amid growing social and political fragmentation.

According to him, intelligence reports were sent directly to the Prime Minister’s Office and top security officials.

“Every piece of information from the Intelligence Directorate reached the prime minister, the head of Mossad, and the head of Shin Bet. Everything was documented and circulated,” he said.

However, Haliva noted that Netanyahu had been increasingly avoiding regular intelligence briefings.

“In the past, he met with the head of intelligence weekly. Then it became once a month, and later once every two months—because he didn’t want to hear anything that contradicted him.”

Haliva described Netanyahu as “all-knowing,” insisting that he was fully briefed on the security situation.

“He sat in the rooms, argued over the assessments, and received official research papers containing clear warnings. Yet no action was taken,” he said.

“In any normal country, officials would resign over events far smaller than this. But here, anything is permitted,” Haliva added. “Look at how the families of prisoners are treated, how the people are treated. It’s as if we live in a permanent state of shock.”

Despite repeated claims by military leaders that Netanyahu had been warned before October 7, he has consistently denied receiving such alerts.

Haliva, born in Haifa in 1967, joined the paratroopers in 1985 and rose through the ranks to head Military Intelligence in 2021.

On April 22, 2024, the Israeli army announced his resignation—the first by a senior officer over the failures surrounding the October 7 attack.

  1. ” Plausible Deniability ” …Of course he ignored warnings. He had to look the other way, because October 7, 2023 was a false flag. A joint operation, coordinated between Israelica and the Palestinian Authority, to blame everything on Hamas. Look at the low grade weapons Hamas had, then look at all that damage: mostly done by Wasrael and the PA.
Look at all that happened in Gaza all year in 2023, you could see it coming.

  2. Netanyahu, This psychopath and liar is a lunatic and a war criminal and should be brought to justice at once.
