A rocket launch from Yemen and drone strikes on Eilat forced millions in Israel into shelters and grounded flights at Ben Gurion.
Millions of Israelis entered shelters after a rocket was launched from Yemen, triggering air raid sirens in Jerusalem, the greater Tel Aviv area, and central Israel, Israeli media reported.
Air traffic at Ben Gurion Airport was suspended following the alerts. According to Israel’s Channel 12, the missile launched from Yemen was intercepted.
The launch came just hours after Israeli airstrikes targeted the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, leaving at least two people dead and 48 wounded, according to initial reports.
Israel intensified its attacks on Yemen following an operation by Ansarallah against the southern Israeli city of Eilat. The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said that 50 people were injured, three of them critically, when a drone struck a tourist area of the city. Helicopters evacuated the severely wounded to hospitals in central Israel.

The Israeli military acknowledged that it had attempted to intercept the drone before impact. Israeli Army Radio reported that the Iron Dome system fired two interceptor missiles but failed to shoot it down.
Ansarallah has carried out dozens of missile and drone operations against Israel and ships in the Red Sea, presenting them as part of its support for Palestinians enduring genocide in Gaza.
On September 7, an Israeli was lightly injured when a drone launched from Yemen struck the passenger terminal at Ramon Airport, north of Eilat.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American backing, has waged a genocidal war on Gaza, killing at least 65,419 Palestinians and wounding 167,160, the majority of them women and children.
A famine caused by the siege has also claimed the lives of 442 Palestinians, including 147 children.

Zero pity. None…zilch…
the majority of Israeli citizens have encouraged the genocide the entire time, even before October 7th.
But as far as the Israelis admitting they
” couldn’t ” intercept the drone before impact, it makes more sense that they would allow it to impact; just to have a reason to prolong attacks on Yemen, and gain the support of the citizens. Now Nazinyahu can tell Dondolf Trump they need to keep fighting.
there is no genocide if the population never stopped growing
