  • A rocket from Lebanon struck a building in Nahariya, injuring several people and trapping residents under rubble.

Missile Fragments Land near Israeli Parliament

The exchange of strikes between Iran and Israel escalated, with missile fragments reported near key political sites in Jerusalem.

Israeli media reported that fragments from an Iranian missile barrage fell in the vicinity of the Israeli parliament (Knesset) and close to the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Video broadcast by Israeli outlets showed Knesset members rushing to shelters after sirens sounded in the area.

The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation also published an image of what it described as a large rocket fragment that fell near the Knesset building.

The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth confirmed that additional fragments landed near Netanyahu’s office in Jerusalem, while Channel 12 reported that missile debris fell across wide areas of Jerusalem and central Israel after Iran launched a missile barrage.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog later visited a house in central Israel that had been destroyed by an Iranian strike.

Herzog said the damage resulted from a missile “carrying cluster munitions,” warning that Tehran’s use of such weapons would bring “further destruction.”

Iran Says Hundreds of Missiles and Drones Used

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said its latest strikes targeted Israeli military aviation centers and bases hosting US forces in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

The IRGC said the attacks were carried out as part of the 55th wave of Operation True Promise 4.

According to the statement, the strikes used heavy missiles including Fattah, Emad and Qader, as well as guided missiles such as Zulfiqar and Dezful, in addition to drones.

On Sunday, Revolutionary Guard spokesman Mohammad Ali Naeini said Iran had launched about 700 missiles and nearly 3,600 drones at American and Israeli targets since the confrontation began.

He also claimed that the number of dead and wounded American and Israeli soldiers had reached about 5,000, adding that Iranian forces had shot down 118 drones.

The report noted that Israel imposes strict censorship on information related to its human and material losses during the war.

Rocket from Lebanon Hits Building in Northern Israel

Meanwhile, Israeli police said a building in the northern Israeli city of Nahariya was hit by a rocket fired from Lebanon. Israeli army radio reported that rescue teams were searching for people trapped under the rubble.

Israel’s Channel 14 said several people were injured in the strike, while ambulance services later reported rescuing five people from inside the damaged building.

The Israeli army said the damage was caused by a missile launched from Lebanon, not by a failed interceptor.

Channel 12 had earlier reported that Israeli security authorities were conducting a technical examination to determine the source of the explosion that rocked the city.

The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah said it carried out drone and missile attacks as part of its continued response to Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory.
