The Dutch Embassy in Israel has announced it has installed the second security inspection machine at the Israeli controlled Karm Abusalem Crossing, the only trade and goods crossing between Gaza and Israel.

The Hebrew Radio said on Thursday that the experimental stage of operating the second security inspection machine at the crossing has started.

Yet, the Embassy said it aimed to “support Palestinian trade, the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, and to maintain the security of Israel”.

The Netherlands has also provided Israel with police dogs, which repeatedly attacked Palestinians, which stirred a controversy in the country.
