The platform reportedly invites users worldwide to join a “digital army” tasked with countering “disinformation” and “defending Israel online.”
Israel has long invested in shaping its image online, but its latest initiative, the Digital Iron Dome, “represents a new level of sophistication in information warfare,” the Lebanese news network Al Mayadeen reported on Friday.
The platform is marketed as “a 24/7 digital defense system” whereby “our AI monitors the internet for anti-Israel narratives, instantly produces fact-based responses, and uses smart advertising to place our content directly in front of people who just consumed misleading information about Israel.”
It invites users worldwide to join a “digital army” tasked with countering what it describes as “disinformation” and “defending Israel online,” the report stated.
Israel’s ‘Digital Iron Dome’ is as much a weapon as its bombs. Mass reporting, AI, and paid propaganda form the new frontline.

The initiative functions less as a neutral fact-checking tool and more as a coordinated influence operation, the report stated, adding that users are encouraged to register and access pre-scripted posts, hashtags, and visual content optimized for viral sharing across X, Instagram, and TikTok.
“By centralizing narrative control in this way, the platform effectively outsources public diplomacy to civilians while framing entity-aligned messaging as grassroots activism,” the report noted.
It said the platform’s design “mirrors modern marketing technology, with embedded tracking scripts and analytics monitoring engagement in real time.”
‘Countercontent’
The Digital Iron Dome “turns seemingly spontaneous online support into a highly engineered content amplification system aimed at shaping global perceptions of the Israeli genocide in Gaza and countering criticism through algorithmic dominance,” the report added.

The platform claims to produce “fact-based” countercontent and place targeted ads alongside material it deems “biased” or “antisemitic”, the report continued.
Its landing page “cites impressive metrics – ‘300M+ targeted ads delivered’ and ‘200K+ websites reached’ and solicits donations.”
‘Unequal Terrain’
AI Engineer and the head of AI Department in a consultation company, Ali Hadi Zeineddine, told Al Mayadeen that focusing solely on the technical mechanics of the Digital Iron Dome risks obscuring a much deeper issue.
“Discussing the technical aspects of the Digital Iron Dome,” he noted, “may lead to misleading conclusions, especially when filtered through Western slogans of ‘democracy’ and ‘freedom of speech.’”
He said the “real story lies not in its code, but in the unequal terrain of the digital battlefield where it operates.”

The report said Zeineddine argued that the Digital Iron Dome enters a space “already distorted by entrenched inequalities, from algorithmic bias to economic exclusion and platform moderation practices that disproportionately silence Palestinian voices.”
He stressed that these imbalances “don’t just create opportunities for such campaigns, they amplify them.”
Independent investigations have shown that major platforms, including those owned by Meta, Facebook, and Instagram, apply double standards to content relating to Palestine, the report noted.
“In today’s conflicts, algorithms and ad policies have replaced tanks and trenches,” Zeineddine said. “When platform moderation already disfavors Palestinian voices, projects like the Digital Iron Dome don’t create imbalance; they exploit one.”
Organized Narrative Machine
Dr. Hassan Younes, a university professor and consultant, told Al Mayadeen that after October 7, the digital space became a frontline with Israel and its allies deploying a highly organized narrative machine. This included “coordinated talking points, PR campaigns, bot networks, sudden surges in ‘security justification’ rhetoric, and attempts to flood timelines with distraction content,” the report stated.

However, Dr. Younes said, “You cannot hide starvation. You cannot algorithmically blur the image of a mother holding her child under the rubble.”
“You cannot label every voice ‘extremist’ when millions say the same thing: this is not self-defense, it is mass punishment,” he stressed.
‘Policymakers, Influencers’ Targeted
Digital Iron Dome was founded by two brothers, Hadar and Or Ashuach, according to the website. Haidar had previously completed Israeli military service “in an elite artillery unit”.
The platform “identifies key narratives, tailors campaigns for maximum impact, and measures results in real-time,” the website notes, adding that it collaborates with the Israeli Diaspora Affairs Ministry and Stand With Us, an “Israel education organization” that “challenges misinformation and fights antisemitism,” according to the group’s website.
The Israel Lobby is Losing Its Influence Triggering a New Propaganda Strategy
They have “ensured that messages about Israel’s truth have reached policymakers, influencers, and everyday people worldwide,” according to the Digital Iron Dome website.
“Hadar and Or’s mission is clear: to protect Israel’s image, expose the lies of its adversaries, and reshape global perceptions. Digital Iron Dome is more than a project; it’s a movement that transforms how advocacy is done in the digital age. Join the fight today,” the website notes.
Two-Year Genocidal Assault
Starting on October 7, 2023, the Israeli military, with American support, launched a genocidal war against the people of Gaza. This campaign has so far resulted in the deaths of over 68,000 Palestinians, with more than 170,000 wounded. The vast majority of the population has been displaced, and the destruction of infrastructure is unprecedented since World War II. Thousands of people are still missing.
In addition to the military assault, the Israeli blockade has caused a man-made famine, leading to the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians—mostly children—with hundreds of thousands more at risk.

Since the US-brokered ceasefire came into effect on October 10, Israel has killed close to 100 Palestinians and injured 230 others in 80 violations of the ceasefire.
Despite widespread international condemnation, little has been done to hold Israel accountable. The nation is currently under investigation for genocide by the International Court of Justice, while accused war criminals, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, are officially wanted by the International Criminal Court.

Shylock the baby-killer wants to lie to people to somehow save the public image of Jewish Nazis…
well, maybe, just maaaaybeeee if you could force yourself to stop shooting children and raping male detainees, people might change their minds about you…
just a thought.
The same old same. More flashier packaging. Flail faster, “Israel”! Right out of the gate, the 2 brothers “in an elite artillery unit”: all they can do is lob shells at civilians, hiding behind the carnage. Another “narrative” bits the dust. But cash in, anyway!
