SEATTLE/LONDON (January 17, 2008) – After years of hard work and an ever-growing readership, the Palestine Chronicle (www.PalestineChronicle.com) is pleased to announce a new collaborative effort soon to be underway with the award winning Middle East based news portal, Al-Bawaba. (www.albawaba.com)

We are delighted, says Palestine Chronicle Editor-in-Chief, Ramzy Baroud, “this new alliance will provide our writers and stories a much wider exposure and readership.”

Founded in 1999 and based in Washington, The Palestine Chronicle has earned the reputation of being one of the most reliable and informative publications regarding Middle East news and commentary, with a special focus on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. With a readership of thousands daily, Palestine Chronicle’s writers have been featured in some of the world’s most prominent media.

Al-Bawaba was formed in 2000 and now attracts nearly 2 million readers per month. Today, the company is the single largest digital news (and other) content provider operating within the MENA region. Al-Bawaba supplies round-the-clock, custom content feeds, in Arabic, English, Farsi and French, to world respected news organizations, content syndicates, wireless companies and print publications.

“The cooperation between our two companies will benefit our writers immensely, with the potential to reach an ever-greater audience than present. It is also a great time for new readers to consider publication with the Palestine Chronicle, for now their work could reach many more readers,” states Baroud.

As a result of this new syndication arrangement, Palestine Chronicle’s content will be made available within the numerous databases including FT.com, Factiva (a Dow Jones company), Thomson Corporation, Reed Elsevier, EBSCO Information Services, ProQuest and more.
