Al-Hayya said Palestinians will continue their struggle for national rights and called for international prosecution of Israeli leaders, emphasizing Gaza’s resilience and the renewed global focus on the Palestinian cause after October 7.
Khalil al-Hayya, head of the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas in the Gaza Strip, said that the Palestinian people will not accept erasure and will continue to struggle to obtain their national rights.
He stressed the need to pursue legal measures to hold Israeli leaders accountable for crimes committed against Palestinians.
Speaking on Friday at the Arab National Conference in Beirut, al-Hayya stated that Gaza “stood for the nation and confronted oppression,” and continues to appeal to the wider Arab region to support the Palestinian cause and its legitimate objectives.

He said that Gaza today is wounded and attempting to recover from devastation, yet remains “steadfast, resilient, and determined.”
Al-Hayya described the reality of life inside the Gaza Strip, where Palestinians continue to search for shelter, clean water, bread, medicine, and space to live among the ruins of their destroyed homes.
He said that the suffering of civilians underscores the necessity of keeping Israel and its leaders “within the circle of legal prosecution” and bringing them before international courts for war crimes committed in Gaza.

The top Hamas official added that the events of October 7 disrupted prevailing narratives and restored what he described as the “true narrative,” which, according to him, reawakened global awareness of the Palestinian cause.
Al-Hayya said that stopping the ongoing offensive against Gaza places a historical responsibility on regional and international actors to help rebuild the territory.
He called for unified support for reconstruction efforts so that Gaza can continue its path toward return and liberation.

Hamas was right to fight back on October 7th and they should keep fighting because the Israeli Nazis will never back down and just go away. The Israelis are squatting on occupied terrority. They shouldn’t be rewarded for all they’ve done by annexation of West Bank, or the Two-State Bullsh!t. Annexation would legitimize their theft of land. There is only one state: Palestine.
There never was an Israel, there should never be one.
