The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, released footage today, Wednesday, of its fighters targeting Israeli occupation soldiers and their military vehicles encroaching into Gaza City.
Simultaneously, Al-Quds Brigades – Saraya Al-Quds – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced the execution of a “qualitative operation.”
Al-Qassam Brigades Operations
Al-Qassam stated that these strikes are part of the “Moses’ Staff” operation series, launched against occupation forces in response to the “Gideon’s Chariots 2” operation for the occupation of Gaza City.
The footage included:
A precise sniping operation that directly struck and instantly downed an occupation soldier.
The targeting of several Israeli military vehicles with Al-Yassin 105 anti-armor rockets.
The firing of mortar shells from various areas towards occupation gatherings and concentrations within the city.
Al-Quds Brigades’ ‘Qualitative Operation’
In the same context, Al-Quds Brigades announced a “qualitative operation” where its fighters detonated a house that had been pre-rigged with multiple locally made explosive devices and others repurposed from occupation ordnance.
The Brigades clarified via their Telegram channel that they detonated the house in the Al-Nasser neighborhood of Gaza City as an Israeli engineering unit was entering the location to demolish it.

They revealed the participation of a “Hudhud” drone in the operation, which documented the moment the occupation forces entered and the house exploded. Al-Quds Brigades affirmed that the explosion provided certain confirmation that all inside the house were counted among the killed and missing, with no soldiers emerging wounded.
Following the operation, the occupation launched “extremely violent and unprecedented” airstrikes around the explosion site, according to the Brigades.
Al-Quds Brigades also announced on Wednesday that their fighters had bombarded two Israeli settlements in the Gaza envelope with a rocket salvo, “in response to Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.”
Earlier today, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that army forces are tightening their siege on Gaza City after completing control of the Netzarim Corridor, which separates the northern part of the Gaza Strip from the south.
The occupation army had announced on September 21st the deepening of its ground operations in Gaza City, as part of a phased plan approved by its government for the gradual occupation of the Strip, which began on August 11th and included ground incursions along several axes in the city.
Resistance factions in Gaza have consistently documented their operations against the occupation army’s forces and vehicles across various combat axes since the start of the Israeli ground operation on October 27, 2023.
The factions have routinely set up successful, elaborate ambushes that have inflicted significant human losses on the occupation army, in addition to the destruction and disabling of hundreds of military vehicles, and the shelling of cities and settlements with medium and long-range missiles.
