Israeli occupation forces carried out widespread ceasefire violations across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, killing at least seven Palestinians and launching attacks in areas not designated for military control under the ceasefire agreement.

Israeli occupation forces continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, carrying out multiple attacks across several areas of the enclave.

Medical sources in Gaza reported that at least five Palestinians were killed by Israeli gunfire in different parts of the Strip since this morning.

Among those killed was photojournalist Mahmoud Wadi, targeted by an Israeli drone strike in central Khan Younis—an area that is not under Israeli army control according to the ceasefire terms.

Israeli Drone Strike Kills Palestinian Journalist as Attacks Expand Past Yellow Line

Wadi is the latest addition to the 256 journalists killed by Israel in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, according to the Gaza Government Media Office. Press freedom organizations have repeatedly urged Israel to stop targeting journalists, but these calls have been ignored. Palestinians say the systematic targeting of media workers is part of an effort to hide Israel’s crimes in the Strip.

Meanwhile, a source at the Baptist Hospital confirmed the killing of two Palestinians and the wounding of others by Israeli fire in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.

Earlier, the same hospital reported that a Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli forces outside their deployment zones in the Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City. Local media also reported that another man was wounded by Israeli drone gunfire in the al-Nasr neighborhood.

Israeli drones reportedly launched munitions that set homes ablaze near the Sanafour junction, east of Al-Tuffah, where the Israeli army has been expanding the boundaries of the so-called “yellow line.” According to the ceasefire agreement, more than 53% of the Gaza Strip has now been placed under Israeli control.

At the Shuja’iyya intersection, Israeli forces detonated a booby-trapped robot in the Al-Sha’af area, east of Gaza City. They also demolished buildings in northern Gaza, launched airstrikes on Jabalia, and shelled the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Strip.

In the early hours of Tuesday, Israeli warplanes also conducted heavy fire toward Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, according to local media.

A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel came into effect on October 10, intended to halt Israel’s genocidal campaign that has killed more than 70,000 Palestinians and wounded nearly 171,000.

Despite this, Israel has repeatedly breached the terms, killing and injuring civilians in areas it does not control under the deal. Hamas has stated that it remains committed to the agreement and has called on the United States to pressure Israel to abide by its obligations.
