A Song from Gaza to Slain Palestinians whose Bodies are Withheld by Israeli Occupation Forces (VIDEO)

Gaza- based  human rights activists released an amateur video-clip dedicated to Palestinian martyrs whose bodies have been withheld by Israeli occupation forces! The video-clip, performed by the Palestinian activist Haidar Eid, titled “I Wanna Go Home” is  adopted from a piece composed by the legendary Egyptian composer Sayyed Darwsih at the turn of the 20th C.

Under International Humanitarian Law, Israel is obliged to return the dead bodies of those Palestinians to their families.  However, Israel continues to evade its obligations.

Hey! You are the pupil of my eyes
I Wanna go home!
Home! Home!
I wanna go home!
One night, i went to bed
And when I woke up
There was no Homeland!
Hey, my fellow human being,
Oppression is a sin,
My hear flew away, And never came back,
Looking for my homeland,
Home! Home!
I wanna go home.
