Israeli occupation forces carried out a massacre, killing four members of one Palestinian family in the West Bank, as deadly attacks and ceasefire violations continue in Gaza.
Key Developments
- Israeli occupation forces killed four members of the Bani Odeh family, including two children, after firing on their vehicle in Tammoun.
- Palestinian groups condemned the incident as a “field execution” and “war crime.”
- Meanwhile, Israeli shelling in Gaza killed four Palestinians as violations of the ceasefire agreement continue.
Israeli Forces Kill Family in Tammoun
Four Palestinians from the same family were killed early Sunday when Israeli occupation forces opened fire on their vehicle in the town of Tammun, south of Tubas in the northern occupied West Bank.
Local sources said Israeli special forces infiltrated the town before military reinforcements arrived from the Ein Shibli and Tayasir checkpoints.
Occupation forces then fired on the family’s vehicle, killing Ali Khaled Sayel Bani Odeh (37), his wife Waad Othman Aqel Bani Odeh (35), and their two children, Muhammad (5) and Othman (7).
Two other children in the vehicle were wounded. Their sons Mustafa, 8, and Khaled, 11, suffered injuries from bullet fragments to the head and face.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said Israeli occupation forces initially prevented its crews from reaching the wounded. According to the organization, its teams were forced to leave the area before later recovering the victims.

PRCS crews eventually transported four bodies from the vehicle — a man, a woman, and two children — along with the two injured children.
In a related development, Israeli occupation forces detained several residents during raids in Tammoun.
Local sources said occupation forces detained Mahmoud Hassan Bani Odeh and his 19-year-old son Hassan, after storming their home. They also arrested 15-year-old Yaman Hossam Bani Odeh.
‘Field Execution’
Palestinian political groups strongly condemned the killing of the Bani Odeh family.
The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas described the incident as “a field execution and a new war crime.”
The movement said targeting a family that included women and children reflects the nature of Israeli policies against Palestinians.
Hamas also called on Palestinians in the West Bank to escalate confrontation with the occupation and activate resistance efforts.
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) also condemned the attack, saying the killing of the Bani Odeh family is part of a broader escalation of Israeli violence in the West Bank.
The group said preventing Red Crescent teams from reaching the wounded demonstrates Israel’s determination to continue its violations.
The Palestinian National Initiative described the incident as “a summary execution and deliberate killing of unarmed civilians.”
The movement called on the United Nations and the International Criminal Court to launch an immediate investigation and hold those responsible accountable.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Resistance Committees warned that the massacre represents a dangerous escalation and said Israel is exploiting global focus on regional conflicts to intensify attacks in the West Bank.

Israeli Shelling Continues in Gaza
Meanwhile, four Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip on Sunday as Israeli attacks continued despite the ceasefire agreement.
In the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, Israeli aircraft struck a group of civilians in the Al-Sawarha area west of the camp, killing three people.
The victims were Kamel Ayash, his wife Halima Ayash, and their son Ahmed Ayash. Another Palestinian, Wafi Talal Ibrahim Al-Desouki, died from wounds he sustained earlier during an Israeli attack on January 30 in Khan Yunis.
Israeli occupation forces also carried out artillery shelling and gunfire operations in several areas east of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli tanks resumed firing south of Khan Yunis, while artillery shelling targeted eastern areas of Gaza City.
The attacks come amid continued violations of the ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Hamas. The agreement, which entered into force on October 10, has been repeatedly violated by Israeli shelling and gunfire in various parts of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli Jewish Nazis are scum. But we never hear from the Israeli citizens. How many of them cheered that family being executed, how many condemned it?
we assume the citizens condemned it, but we really don’t know.
