Widespread Raids and Arrests
Israeli occupation forces launched a widespread campaign of raids across the occupied West Bank and occupied Jerusalem overnight and early Saturday, arresting Palestinians, searching homes and imposing new movement restrictions.

Raids also targeted Kobar, north of Ramallah, and Al-Amari refugee camp in Al-Bireh, where a Palestinian youth was arrested. Israeli forces also opened fire toward a vehicle in Al-Bireh, according to Quds News Network.
In Hebron Governorate, occupation forces raided Al-Arroub refugee camp and Al-Dhahiriya, arresting six Palestinians in Al-Arroub. Israeli soldiers smashed the contents of Ziad al-Badawi’s home before arresting him.
Occupation forces also entered Qaffin north of Tulkarm, Tammun and Al-Far’a refugee camp in Tubas, while military reinforcements were sent toward Jericho.
In Qalqilya Governorate, troops established a military checkpoint at the entrance to Immatin, inspecting Palestinian vehicles and obstructing movement.
Thousands of Settlers Enter Occupied Jerusalem
Meanwhile, thousands of illegal Israeli Jewish settlers entered the Old City of occupied Jerusalem ahead of the Jewish New Year.
Israeli occupation forces deployed in and around Palestinian areas to secure the settler incursions, including raids into Anata and the vicinity of Qalandia refugee camp north of Jerusalem.
The developments came as Israel tightened restrictions across the occupied territory during the Jewish holiday period.

Israeli authorities routinely impose additional checkpoints, closures and restrictions on Palestinian movement during Jewish holidays, while facilitating access for Israeli settlers to religious sites in occupied Jerusalem and elsewhere in the West Bank.
Palestinian Shot as Settler Attacks Escalate
Settler attacks also intensified across several Palestinian communities on Saturday. In Faqqu’a, east of Jenin, a Palestinian was shot in the leg by Israeli forces during confrontations that erupted after settlers entered Palestinian agricultural land and brought livestock onto farmers’ property.
Local sources said residents confronted the settlers before Israeli forces intervened, firing live ammunition toward Palestinians.
Occupation forces subsequently sent military reinforcements into the village, deployed around Palestinian homes and agricultural areas and detained dozens of residents.
In Burqa, east of Ramallah, settlers attacked the outskirts of the village early Saturday, throwing stones at Palestinian homes and vehicles. Windows of a vehicle and a wedding hall were smashed.

The attacks followed the injury of two Palestinians on Friday on the Al-Ma’arajat road between Ramallah and Jericho. Both suffered fractures and bruises after being assaulted by settlers.
Settlers also opened fire toward Palestinians at a farm east of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, as residents attempted to repel an attack on a poultry farm.
In Mikhmas, north of occupied Jerusalem, a settler cut through a fence and brought livestock onto Palestinian farmland in the Urqan Shariqa area.
The latest incidents form part of an escalating pattern of settler attacks on Palestinian homes, agricultural land and livelihoods across the occupied West Bank, frequently carried out under the protection or alongside the intervention of Israeli occupation forces.
