Hamas confirmed its readiness to immediately re-engage in negotiations if aid reaches those who deserve it and the famine in Gaza ends.

The Palestinian Resistance Movement, Hamas, stated that President Donald Trump never gets tired of repeating Israeli accusations and lies about Hamas stealing aid. The group affirmed that it will not get tired of refuting and rejecting them.

Hamas added that Trump’s accusations are false and have been refuted by the United Nations and an internal investigation by the US Agency for International Development. The movement also stressed that the starvation and genocide in Gaza are a direct result of the US-backed Israeli occupation policy.

In a statement, Hamas demanded that Washington condemn the siege and starvation of the people of Gaza, stop its bias towards Israel, and cease viewing the situation through an Israeli lens. The movement also called for ensuring that aid is delivered through the United Nations and not through the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.

Separately, Hamas called for next Sunday to be a national, Arab, Islamic, and global day in support of Gaza, Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa, and the prisoners.

The movement also called on “the free people of the world” to escalate popular movements on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays of every week until the genocide and famine in the besieged strip end.

Hamas affirmed that “our people in the Gaza Strip are still being subjected to a comprehensive war of extermination that uses starvation as a tool of war to break their steadfastness.”

Last Thursday, Hamas confirmed its readiness to immediately re-engage in negotiations if aid reaches those who deserve it and the famine in Gaza ends.

The movement said in a statement that continuing negotiations in the midst of starvation makes them meaningless and futile, especially after the Israeli occupation withdrew from them without justification.

The Hamas statement said that ‘the starvation practiced by the occupation has reached an unbearable level in Gaza and poses the greatest danger to the lives of more than two million Palestinians.”

The movement called on the international community and all relevant parties to take immediate action “to stop the mass massacre being committed by the Israeli enemy.”

It also demanded that the international community take action to deliver food to the Palestinian people immediately and without conditions, and to ensure their protection.

Yesterday, Friday, about 82 Palestinians were killed, including 49 aid seekers, by Israeli army fire across the Strip, while 554 others were injured, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Since the resumption of the genocide in Gaza last March, about 9,163 Palestinians have been killed and more than 35,000 injured, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health.

The ongoing Israeli war of extermination on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has resulted in the deaths of more than 60,000 Palestinians and injuries to more than 147,000.

  1. I as an American, who’s father was an “early” Israeli, born in then British-mandate Palestine in June of 1934 – my abba raised me, my brother and sister, to always respect and interact with our Arab/Muslim Israeli neighbors. After my parents divorced (mom was an American) my abba married a Yemenite woman who to this day is like a true mother to me. Politically, our family has always been a part of the Labor Zionism – social democrat party. Inshallah ve be Shalom!!

    • What a pointless barrage of nothing. If that’s all your “AI” slop you’ve got?? Once a Zionist, always a Zionist. “Israel” is Zionism: displacement, genocide, extermination.
