Two Palestinians Killed, Five Injured in Israeli Army Assault on Jalazone Refugee Camp

Israeli occupation forces killed two young Palestinian men and injured five others in the Jalazone refugee camp near Ramallah.

Two Palestinians were killed on Monday morning and four others were seriously injured during an Israeli military raid in the Jalazone refugee camp near Ramallah, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

According to WAFA, Israeli soldiers broke into the refugee camp to detain Palestinian activists and residents who confronted them with stones.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed in a statement that Mahmoud Saif Nakhleh, 20, and Mohammad Nidal Ilian, 22, were killed by Israeli army gunfire, while five others were critically injured.

Israeli occupation forces also detained at least 20 people.

95 people have been killed in the occupied West Bank since the start of the latest Israeli military aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip, on October 7.
