The Israeli army announced that a soldier from the Paratroopers Brigade was killed during battles in southern Lebanon, while three others were wounded.
According to Israeli Channel 7, the soldier was identified as Sergeant Moshe Yitzhak Hacohen Katz, 22, from New Haven, Connecticut, who served in the 890th Battalion.
The Israeli Ministry of Health reported that 148 injuries were recorded over the past 24 hours as a result of missile fire from Lebanon and Iran.
Officials claim most of the injuries ranged from minor to moderate, with at least one case described as serious, in addition to multiple cases of shock.

Nearly 1000 Operations
The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah announced on Sunday that it carried out 39 military operations on Saturday, using missiles, drones, and artillery shells against Israeli military positions, settlements, and forces.
According to the group, the total number of operations since March 2 has reached 967, reflecting a sustained escalation along the Lebanon front.
In a detailed statement carried by Al Mayadeen, Hezbollah said it launched operations “in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to Israel’s continued shelling of civilians, forced displacement, and demolition of homes.”

The group announced a series of coordinated strikes targeting Israeli bases, forces, and settlements across multiple locations.
Hezbollah said it targeted “the Ein Shimer base… with a salvo of precision rockets,” and “the Raghfim base… southeast of the occupied city of Haifa,” also using precision rockets.
It added that fighters struck “the Beirya base… the main air and missile defense base under the Northern Region Command… with a squadron of assault drones.”
Repeated attacks were also carried out against Israeli troop concentrations, including multiple strikes on “a gathering of Israeli army soldiers and vehicles at the al-Malikiya site with a salvo of rockets.”
On the ground, Hezbollah said its fighters targeted “a hostile helicopter… with an air defense missile, forcing it to retreat,” and struck “a Merkava tank… with a guided missile, achieving a direct hit.”
The group also confirmed rocket attacks on settlements, stating that it targeted “the Metulla settlement” and “the Shtula settlement with a salvo of rockets.”
Hezbollah said these operations come as part of a sustained response to Israeli military actions, signaling continued escalation across the northern front.
