The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement published yesterday “Turkey should think twice before criticizing the military action of another country.”

The statement added, “We will continue to defend Israelis against rockets fired at our lands according to the international law, our consciences and responsibilities.”

Israel launched dozens of airstrikes on Gaza two days ago following the firing of a rocket from Gaza into southern Israel. Five Palestinians were reported injured while no injuries were reported in Israel.
