One month after the ceasefire, Israel continues daily killings, siege, and deprivation in Gaza, while returning bodies showing signs of torture and targeting journalists and civilians.
The deaths of three more Palestinians were recorded in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 69,179 since October 2023, the Ministry of Health announced on Monday.
One person was killed, another body was retrieved from under the rubble, and a third succumbed to his injuries, the Health Ministry said, with three more injuries also reported, raising the number of injured to 170,693.

The Ministry said scores of bodies remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
The deaths of seven Palestinians were recorded on Sunday, the Ministry said, including one person killed and six more bodies retrieved from under the rubble. In addition, five Palestinians were injured during the same period and transferred to hospitals across the enclave for treatment, according to Al Mayadeen.
Bodies Handed Over
On Monday, the bodies of 15 more Palestinian detainees were also received, bringing the total number of received bodies to 315.

Gaza’s Health Ministry noted that medical teams are continuing to process the bodies according to approved medical protocols, preparing for examination, documentation, and handover to families.
Israel delivers the bodies without names, many of which bear no recognizable features due to torture and mutilation, according to earlier ministry data.
Gaza’s forensic department has previously said that most Palestinian bodies returned from Israel were blindfolded and bound, providing evidence of torture and execution before death.
‘Premeditated Killing’
A Geneva-based rights monitor group, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, said on Monday that Israel continued “premeditated killing” of Palestinian civilians despite a month having passed since the ceasefire was reached on October 10 between Israel and Hamas, the Anadolu news agency reported.
“An average of eight Palestinians are killed daily under the ongoing comprehensive blockade on the Gaza Strip, alongside a policy of deliberate starvation … denial of medical treatment for the wounded and sick, and the deliberate hindrance of humanitarian aid,” Euro-Med Monitor said.

Mentioning that the Israeli army continues to violate the ceasefire daily through aerial and artillery bombardment, gunfire, it stressed that the violation also continues with ongoing destruction of homes and buildings, particularly in the eastern areas of Khan Yunis and Gaza City.
“These actions form part of a systematic approach to eroding the foundations of life in the Gaza Strip and denying its residents their most basic rights, in clear violation of international law,” it added.
Recalling that 242 Palestinians have been killed, including 85 children, in Israeli attacks over the past month, Euro-Med reiterated that it amounts to a rate of more than eight deaths per day, and around 619 others injured, at more than 20 injuries per day.
“This clearly shows that Israel has not ceased its policy of killing and systematically targeting Palestinians.”
Journalists Killed
At the same time, a new report by the Freedoms Committee of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, noted that 44 Palestinian journalists were killed inside displacement tents in Gaza, out of over 250 journalists killed between October 2023 and October 2025.
The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate says Israel has systematically targeted journalists in Gaza, killing dozens even inside displacement tents during its months-long war.

The report pointed to the systematic campaign targeting Gaza’s media infrastructure, citing the destruction of news offices and the deliberate killing of journalists in their homes, workplaces, and temporary shelters, Al Mayadeen reported.
Staggering Death Toll
Starting on October 7, 2023, the Israeli military, with American support, launched a genocidal war against the people of Gaza. This campaign has so far resulted in the deaths of over 69,000 Palestinians, with more than 170,000 wounded. The vast majority of the population has been displaced, and the destruction of infrastructure is unprecedented since World War II. Thousands of people are still missing.
The Gaza Tribunal Verdict: A Blueprint to Shatter Israeli Immunity
In addition to the military assault, the Israeli blockade has caused a man-made famine, leading to the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians—mostly children—with hundreds of thousands more at risk.
Despite widespread international condemnation, little has been done to hold Israel accountable. The nation is currently under investigation for genocide by the International Court of Justice, while accused war criminals, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, are officially wanted by the International Criminal Court.
