Key Developments

  • Two Palestinians were killed in separate Israeli attacks in Khan Yunis and Al-Zawaida on Tuesday.
  • Israeli forces carried out demolitions, artillery shelling and gunfire attacks in several areas of eastern Gaza.

Two Palestinians Killed

Two Palestinians were killed and several others wounded on Tuesday as Israeli forces continued military operations across the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire agreement that entered into force last October.

According to local sources cited by Quds News Network, Ali Yasser al-Adini was shot and killed by Israeli forces near Hamad City, northwest of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.

Earlier, an Israeli drone strike targeted a security post in the Al-Farouq neighborhood of Al-Zawaida in central Gaza, killing Khamis Juweifel and injuring two others.

Military Operations

Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces carried out large-scale demolition operations east of Khan Yunis and east of Gaza City.

Israeli occupation troops also opened fire and launched artillery attacks targeting several areas in eastern parts of the Gaza Strip.

The attacks come amid continued Israeli military activity inside areas Palestinians refer to as the ‘Yellow Line’ zone, where demolitions and destruction operations have persisted despite the ceasefire agreement.

Ceasefire Violations

Israel is accused of repeatedly violating the ceasefire through airstrikes, artillery attacks, shootings, demolition operations and restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid and civilian travel.

According to figures released by the Palestinian Health Ministry, 935 Palestinians have been killed and 2,860 wounded since the ceasefire entered into force on October 10.

Medical authorities have also recorded 781 bodies recovered from areas previously inaccessible due to military operations.

The Health Ministry reported that the overall death toll from Israel’s genocide in Gaza has reached approximately 72,938 Palestinians who have been killed and over 172,919 wounded during the genocide, the majority of them women and children.
