Gaza’s Government Media Office and Hamas have rejected US Central Command’s claim that Hamas looted an aid truck in Khan Yunis, calling it a baseless fabrication intended to justify cutting humanitarian aid and deflect attention from Israeli violations.
The Gaza Government Media Office has strongly denied a statement from the US Central Command (CENTCOM) alleging that members of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, looted an aid truck in northern Khan Yunis.
It described the accusation as a “complete fabrication” and part of a deliberate disinformation campaign aimed at discrediting the Palestinian police, who are responsible for securing and protecting humanitarian aid convoys.
The Media Office said that police forces in Gaza had been tasked with escorting and safeguarding humanitarian shipments, ensuring their safe arrival at warehouses for distribution to civilians.
It emphasized that more than 1,000 police officers have been killed and hundreds injured while carrying out these duties—clear evidence, it argued, that they were protecting, not looting, aid deliveries.
Demolition and Shelling in Khan Yunis and Rafah amid Growing Aid Blockade
According to the statement, multiple international organizations have confirmed that the police played a key role in preventing theft, not committing it. It accused Israeli occupation forces of systematically targeting police and volunteer security personnel to create chaos and facilitate the theft of aid.
The Media Office also questioned CENTCOM’s credibility, pointing out that it had only claimed to have “observed suspected Hamas elements” but then presented this as fact without providing evidence or specifying when or where the alleged incident took place.
It further challenged CENTCOM to identify the unnamed “international partners” cited in its report, noting that all recognized humanitarian agencies operating in Gaza have denied any record of aid theft by Palestinian authorities.
The Office said that actual thefts were carried out by “outlaw gangs” allegedly supported and armed by Israel, while international organizations have commended the cooperation of Gaza’s civil and police authorities in facilitating aid distribution.
The statement rejected the claim that Palestinian security forces stole an ambulance and truck, saying that no footage or field evidence supports this allegation. It also contested CENTCOM’s assertion that “nearly 40” organizations were operating in Gaza, saying the real number is closer to 22, most of which face serious Israeli-imposed restrictions on movement and delivery.

Accusing the US Central Command of “bias toward Israel,” the Media Office asked why CENTCOM has remained silent about Israel’s repeated violations of the post-ceasefire agreement, including the killing and arrest of civilians and obstruction of aid, fuel, and rescue efforts.
It said that CENTCOM’s silence on these “daily crimes,” contrasted with its eagerness to spread unverified claims, “destroys its credibility as a supposedly neutral body.”
The Office concluded by condemning the “false and fabricated” allegations and holding the United States and its Central Command responsible for their impact. It called on international mediators to compel Israel to respect the ceasefire, allow unimpeded humanitarian access, and end its ongoing violations.
US Claims Aim to Shrink Gaza Aid
Hamas also issued a statement rejecting CENTCOM’s claims, saying they were fabricated to justify reducing the already limited aid entering Gaza.
The movement said that Gaza’s police and security forces have lost more than 1,000 members while protecting aid convoys and ensuring their delivery to civilians.
It stressed that the brief period of chaos and theft that occurred earlier ended immediately after Israeli forces withdrew—proof, Hamas said, that “the occupation itself sponsored those gangs and managed the chaos accompanying its presence.”
Were the American drones — or U.S. personnel on the ground — watching these Israeli settlers destroy desperately needed humanitarian aid bound for Gaza?

Hamas added that neither local nor international relief agencies had filed any reports of such incidents, confirming that the video cited by CENTCOM was “fabricated to justify the blockade and the reduction of humanitarian support.”
“The United States, which claims to be monitoring Gaza, has failed to observe the daily crimes of the Israeli occupation,” Hamas said, noting that 254 Palestinians, 91 percent of them civilians, have been killed since the ceasefire took effect. The statement accused the US of ignoring Israel’s violations of the “yellow line” and the systematic destruction of civilian homes.
Hamas concluded that Washington’s “complete bias toward the occupation’s narrative” makes it complicit in the blockade and humanitarian suffering. “The US needs not drones, but a measure of conscience and political responsibility,” the statement said, urging Washington to pressure Israel to respect agreements and end the siege.

WTF is the US military doing flying over Gaza in the first place (if you can even believe that much of what they say)??? If they are, did they notice a GENOCIDE going on??? Or are they also dropping bombs on homes??? Or killing journalists? What a waste of taxpayer’s money! It has never been more embarrassing to be an american. Will US military also help enforce the denial of food aid in the US? What pigs.
Proof that most Israelis are scumbags. The Israelis are the worst thing that EH-VERRR happened to ” Jewry ” .
