An international team of doctors has documented a disturbing pattern of fatal gunshot wounds among Gaza’s children, with forensic experts warning the injuries strongly suggest deliberate targeting.
An international team of doctors working in Gaza has reported a disturbing pattern of gunshot wounds among children, raising grave concerns that they may be deliberately targeted. The findings were published Saturday by the Dutch daily De Volkskrant and reported by the Anadolu news agency.
The investigation drew on testimonies from 17 doctors and a nurse from the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and the Netherlands, all of whom served in six hospitals and four clinics across Gaza since October 2023. Many of them had previous experience in crisis zones, including Sudan, Afghanistan, and Ukraine.
Fifteen of the medical professionals told de Volkskrant that they had collectively treated at least 114 children, all aged 15 or younger, each suffering a single gunshot wound to the head or chest. Most of these injuries proved fatal. The cases were recorded in 10 different medical facilities between late 2023 and mid-2025.
Israeli Strikes Leave 50,000 Homeless in Gaza, UN Warns of ‘Total Destruction’
US trauma surgeon Feroze Sidhwa recounted his first day at the European Hospital in March 2024, when four boys under the age of 10 were admitted within 48 hours, all with identical gunshot wounds to the head.
“How is it possible that here in this small hospital, within 48 hours, four children have come in who were shot in the head?” Sidhwa told the newspaper. Over the following 13 days, he treated nine more children with the same injuries.
He later met a colleague in another hospital who reported seeing similar cases “almost every day,” prompting him to conclude: “That was the moment I decided: I have to find out what is happening here.”
‘Highly Unlikely to Be Acidental’
The doctors interviewed stressed that the nature of the wounds made it highly unlikely they were accidental.
Forensic experts consulted by De Volkskrant supported this assessment, noting that the uniformity of the injuries pointed to aimed fire, possibly from snipers or drones.
The revelations come as Israel’s war on Gaza continues, killing dozens of Palestinians daily and forcing mass displacements.
Staggering Death Toll
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported on Sunday that 68 people were killed and 346 wounded in the previous 24 hours.
This brings the total number of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023, to 64,871, with 164,610 injured. Since March 18, 2025, alone, 12,321 Palestinians have been killed and 52,569 wounded.
Meanwhile, in the same 24-hour period, 10 people were killed while seeking aid, with 18 more wounded. To date, at least 2,494 Palestinians have been killed and more than 18,135 injured at aid distribution sites.

The Israeli Jewish Nazis are the worst people in the whole world. None of them have any redeeming qualities. They should all be arrested and found guilty, then summarily executed, but no one has the balls. My US government has been killing children for decades, so it makes sense they’d support the Jewzis.
