Israel: Another High-Ranking Officer Killed in Gaza Resistance Operation

The number of Israeli soldiers and officers killed in fighting with Palestinian resistance has risen to 258, according to Israeli army reports. They include high-ranking officers.

According to the updated list by the Israeli military on Friday, Leon Bar, 53, was killed in the Gaza operation. 

Bar is a senior officer in the West Bank Division. He was killed on October 8, the second day of the Resistance attack. 

Bar is also the third colonel to be killed in the fighting. The other two are Col. Yonatan Steinberg, commander of the Nahal Brigade, and Col. Roy Yosef Levi, Commander of the multidimensional unit. He was killed in the settlement of Ra’im.
