Four Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza as Hamas leadership met Egyptian officials in Cairo to address ceasefire violations and the next phase of the agreement.
Four Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation army fire in Gaza City and Khan Younis on Monday, as Israeli forces carried out new bombing operations northeast of Rafah and east of Gaza City inside the so-called yellow line.
The escalation coincided with high-level discussions in Cairo, where a delegation from the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas met with Egypt’s intelligence chief to review the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex confirmed that two Palestinians were killed and another injured after an Israeli drone strike inside the Green Line in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Yunis.
Two more were killed in the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, after Israeli forces opened fire outside the Green Line.

The Israeli occupation army also launched at least ten airstrikes east of Khan Yunis, in addition to demolition operations and artillery shelling east of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Nasser Medical Complex separately reported the injury of two more civilians in another drone strike beyond the yellow line in Bani Suheila.
According to Al-Jazeera, Israeli air raids accompanied by artillery shelling were also recorded in multiple locations across the northern and southern regions of the Strip. Shelling was additionally reported inside the yellow line in Beit Lahia’s education area, in the north.
These attacks come despite the ongoing ceasefire, agreed between Hamas and Israel under a US-backed plan presented by President Donald Trump, which took effect on October 10.
The agreement followed two years of Israeli military operations that resulted in more than 69,000 Palestinians killed, over 170,000 wounded, and large-scale destruction affecting 90 percent of civilian infrastructure in Gaza.
Hamas Delegation Heads to Cairo to Discuss UN Gaza Resolution – Report
Hamas Delegation in Cairo
Hamas confirmed that a senior leadership delegation met on Sunday in Cairo with Egyptian General Intelligence chief Hassan Rashad.
The delegation, led by movement leadership council chairman Muhammad Darwish and including Khaled Meshaal, Khalil al-Hayya, Nizar Awadallah, Zaher Jabarin, and political bureau member Ghazi Hamad, discussed developments related to the ceasefire agreement and the next phase of its implementation.
According to a Hamas statement, the movement reaffirmed its commitment to the agreement’s first phase while warning that continued Israeli violations could jeopardize its future. Hamas called for a clear, enforceable mechanism under mediator supervision to prevent escalations and ensure accountability for reported violations.
The movement also raised the issue of the Rafah fighters, noting that communication with them remains severed and urging mediators to work quickly to resolve the matter.
Responding to the meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that “Hamas continues to violate the ceasefire in Gaza,” adding that Israel would continue operating independently to “prevent attacks” and would not seek outside approval before authorizing military actions.
