Israeli occupation forces continued air, artillery, and ground attacks across Gaza, killing a Palestinian in the north, as ceasefire violations persist amid a deadly winter storm and worsening humanitarian conditions.
A young Palestinian man was killed on Saturday by Israeli army fire in the northern Gaza Strip, outside the areas designated for Israeli deployment under the ceasefire agreement, as Israeli forces continued air and artillery strikes across the enclave, Al-Jazeera reported.
Al-Shifa Medical Complex confirmed that the man was killed in Jabaliya, northern Gaza, by Israeli occupation forces operating beyond the zones stipulated in the ceasefire that came into effect on October 10.
The official Palestinian news agency WAFA said that the victim was identified as Mohammad Sabri al-Adham, 19 years old, who was shot and killed in the Jabaliya Al-Nazla area.

According to Al-Jazeera, Israeli occupation forces carried out demolition operations targeting buildings east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, accompanied by artillery shelling.
These attacks occurred within areas where the Israeli occupation army remains deployed under the so-called yellow line, which places approximately 53 percent of the Gaza Strip under Israeli control.
The report added that Israeli aircraft also carried out airstrikes on the city of Rafah in southern Gaza, currently under Israeli military control, as well as raids targeting areas of deployment in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
These developments come amid a severe winter storm affecting the Gaza Strip. Since Thursday, at least 14 Palestinians have died as a result of cold weather and flooding, while more than 15 homes previously damaged by Israeli bombardment have collapsed.
Civil Defense officials have previously stated that around 250,000 families are currently living in displacement camps across Gaza, where they face freezing temperatures and flooding inside deteriorating tents, with little means to protect children from the cold.

Despite the ceasefire, Israeli violations have continued. Gaza’s Government Media Office reported last Tuesday that Israeli forces have committed approximately 738 ceasefire violations over the past two months, killing more than 386 Palestinians.
Israel’s war on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, and lasted nearly two years, has left more than 70,000 Palestinians killed and over 171,000 wounded—most of them women and children—alongside widespread destruction. The United Nations has estimated reconstruction costs at approximately $70 billion.
