Israeli forces carried out widespread raids across the occupied West Bank, detaining a Palestinian lawmaker, killing three Palestinians—including two minors—and supporting a surge in coordinated settler attacks.

Israeli occupation forces detained Palestinian Legislative Council member Jamal al-Tiraoui and his sons during a pre-dawn raid on the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank on Saturday, according to local media reports.

In a parallel campaign, the IOF detained Muhammad Hussein Abu Hadid — head of the Municipality Workers Union in al-Khalil and a former prisoner — after storming the city. His arrest comes amid a widening crackdown targeting Palestinian political, labor, and community figures.

Local sources reported that heavily armed troops raided the Old Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus, while additional forces stormed homes in the nearby Balata refugee camp. Residents said Israeli soldiers broke into several houses, carried out extensive searches, and spread fear among families.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian news agency WAFA said several Palestinians suffered from tear gas inhalation on Friday evening after Israeli units stormed the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Beit Lahm, sparking confrontations.

Not an Isolated Pattern

On Friday, Israeli special forces infiltrated the village of Tal, surrounded the home of Walid Ishtiyeh, and launched a raid involving multiple armored vehicles.

During the operation, occupation forces killed 24-year-old police officer Younes Walid Muhammad Ishtiyeh and reportedly withheld his body, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

Witnesses said Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition and sound grenades around the besieged home, injuring Ishtiyeh and preventing Palestinian Red Crescent medics from reaching him. He later succumbed to his wounds.

Related Developments

Elsewhere in Nablus, Israeli forces raided multiple areas, including the Rafidia district and Al-Academy Street, where they erected temporary checkpoints before withdrawing.

Israeli forces also detained a Palestinian youth after surrounding his home near the al-Fara’a camp south of Tubas. Kamal Bani Odeh, director of the Tubas Prisoners’ Club, said 25-year-old Mahdi Ibrahim Mutlaq al-Aydi was kidnapped after a raid carried out by special forces supported by reinforcements from the Hamra military checkpoint.

In the Jenin area, Israeli forces surrounded a house in the town of Burqin and detained another Palestinian.

Local reports said an undercover Israeli unit entered the town using a civilian vehicle with Palestinian plates, besieged the home, and ordered the resident to surrender over loudspeakers. Reinforcements later arrived, and soldiers deployed on nearby rooftops before detaining Amin Muhammad Sahmoud and withdrawing.

Three Palestinians Killed

In addition to the killing of Ishtiyeh, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that Israeli forces shot and killed two Palestinian children during a raid on Kafr Aqab, north of occupied Jerusalem, on Friday. They were identified as Amro Khaled Ahmad al-Marbooh, 18, and Sami Ibrahim Sami Mashaikh, 16.

Funeral processions for the two took place in Kafr Aqab, beginning at the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.

Palestinian media also reported a series of settler assaults on Palestinians and their property across the occupied West Bank since Friday morning.
