12 Palestinians Killed as Israel’s Invasion of Jenin Continues for Third Day

The Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression against the city of Jenin and its camp for the third day in a row, resulting in the killing of 12 Palestinians.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Thursday morning that Ayoub Muhammad Saleh Jalamneh, 27, succumbed to the wounds he sustained from Israeli army gunfire.

Last night, the Ministry of Health announced the death of citizens Ahmed Jamal Abu Zina (27 years old) and the child Bashar al-Hourani, along with the injury of ten others, including two in serious condition, as a result of a drone bombing a group of citizens in the eastern neighborhood of the city of Jenin.

The official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that the occupation forces bombed an abandoned house in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, near the Khaled bin Al-Walid Mosque, arrested Khaled Kifah Abu Srour and his uncle Iyad, and seized an amount of 13 thousand shekels and gold jewelry from their homes.

During their aggression against Jenin and its camp, the occupation forces bombed several homes in the camp and the Sibat and Sharqiya neighborhoods with drones. 

According to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, Israeli forces arrested more than 500 Palestinians, “the majority of whom were released after a field investigation”. PPC added that “it was not possible to confirm the exact number of those who were held into custody.”

The number of Palestinians reportedly killed in Jenin has risen to 12, Al-Jazeera reported, citing Palestinian medical sources.
