Iran launched its largest missile barrage yet, striking Tel Aviv, the Naqab and Arad, as Wave 78 expands attacks across multiple fronts.

Key Developments

  • Iran launches Wave 78 targeting Tel Aviv, Dimona, Eilat and US bases.
  • Israeli media describes latest barrage as the largest since the start of the war.
  • Cluster missiles and fragmentation strikes cause injuries and widespread damage.

Largest Barrage

Israeli media reported on Tuesday morning that powerful explosions were heard across Tel Aviv, Bir al-Sabe’ (Beersheba), the western Naqab (Negev), and Arad following a wave of missiles launched from Iran toward “Israel”.

The barrage was described as the largest since the start of the war, with reports confirming injuries and widespread impact across central and southern areas.

Around 10 strong explosions were heard across central regions, reinforcing the scale and intensity of the attack.

Israeli ambulance services later confirmed that six people were injured in Tel Aviv across four different locations.

Cluster Missiles and Widespread Impact

Israeli media reported that an Iranian cluster missile struck northern Tel Aviv, prompting the deployment of large emergency and security forces to the site.

Sirens were activated in approximately 180 locations across northern areas following the launch of a cluster-type missile, while reports indicated that cluster munitions fell in multiple locations.

According to Haaretz, a building was directly hit, while fragments from Iranian missiles struck at least seven additional locations.

A major road connecting Tel Aviv to the north was closed following the strike.

Additional reports confirmed missile impacts in Bir al-Sabe’, the Naqab, and Arad, with loud explosions heard across these areas.

Search and rescue forces were deployed to multiple sites in the south that sustained damage.

Knesset Session Halted amid Attack

In parallel developments, Israeli media reported that a session at the Knesset was suspended following an air raid warning issued by the Home Front Command.

The interruption reflected the immediate security impact of the missile barrage at the political level.

Israel’s Health Ministry stated that 5,047 injuries have been recorded since the beginning of the war, underscoring the cumulative toll of sustained Iranian attacks.

IRGC Announces Wave 78 of ‘True Promise 4’

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the launch of the 78th wave of Operation “True Promise 4,” targeting multiple sites across the occupied Palestinian territories and US military bases in the region.

According to the IRGC, the strikes targeted Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat), Dimona, and areas north of Tel Aviv, in addition to US military bases across the region.

The operation employed precision-guided Emad and Qadr multi-warhead ballistic missiles, alongside suicide drones.

The IRGC stated that the wave represents “a new chapter in the history of the war,” adding that it reflects both military capability and public backing, referencing “the Iranian people’s raised fists in the streets.”

It emphasized that Tehran is “conducting negotiations with the aggressors using missiles and firepower,” asserting that its actions are carried out “from a position of strength and field dominance.”

The IRGC indicated that the latest wave was carried out with the support of multiple regions across Iran, including North Khorasan, Razavi Khorasan, South Khorasan, and Sistan and Baluchestan.

It added that most of its combat units, along with the Basij forces, have not yet entered the battlefield, warning that their involvement would make the confrontation “more intense” and turn it into “an inescapable hell.”

The statement also warned that any attempts by Israel or the United States to shift the course of the war would be met with immediate and severe retaliation.

‘Martyrs of the Resistance’

The IRGC also confirmed that the 77th wave had been carried out earlier, targeting sites across northern, central, and southern areas of the occupied territories, as well as US bases including Ali Al Salem, Al Kharj, and Al Dhafra.

The previous wave was dedicated to figures described as “martyrs of the resistance,” including Ali Muhammad Naeini, Abu Obeida, and Muhammad Afif.

Iran reiterated that its operations are part of what it describes as a legitimate response to ongoing US-Israeli aggression since February 28, which it says has targeted civilian infrastructure and caused hundreds of deaths and thousands of injuries.

  1. Hopefully this will cause the fracture of Israelica, and we can cut away that rotting cancerous parasite called Wasrael. Then, we clean house at home: clean out the government personnel, start with new people. All the old ones can leave, no pay. F#ck off and good luck to you. Keep Rashida Tlaib and a few others, put the rest on house arrest until their crimes can be processed. Our America can be saved.
