Civil Defense announced on Saturday that half a million Palestinians have returned to Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip since the ceasefire agreement reached in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, came into effect, as the massive destruction caused by the Israeli aggression unfolds.
Meanwhile, Israel reportedly excluded key figures such as Marwan Barghouti and Ahmed Saadat from the list of Palestinian prisoners set to be released in the first phase of the prisoner exchange agreement.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed 67,211 and injured 169,961 others, the majority of whom are women and children, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
