US President Donald Trump said that Washington wants Hamas to give up its weapons, adding that the movement has agreed to do so, and “if it doesn’t, we will take care of it ourselves.”
Trump stated that Hamas is searching for the bodies of the slain hostages, and that some of the bodies are located in tunnels.
He added that Hamas is already digging in search of the bodies, some of which have been buried for a long time, while others are under the rubble.
“There is no reason for the US army to intervene in Gaza,” Trump said.
