A Palestinian elderly man succumbed on Tuesday to the wounds he sustained by Israeli army gunfire last Friday, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

Samir Sabra, 72, a resident of eastern Nablus, was shot in the stomach by Israeli occupation forces during a military raid into the occupied West Bank city of Nablus at dawn last Friday.

Sabra was moved to the hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds on Tuesday.

Since the start of the latest Israeli military aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip, Israeli forces have also killed 60 people in the West Bank, and injured over 1,200 more.
