UPDATE:
The concluding statement of the Arab-Islamic summit in Doha on Monday strongly condemned Israel’s aggression against Qatar, describing it as a blow to any prospects for peace in the region. The declaration urged member states to reconsider their diplomatic and economic ties with Israel and to pursue legal measures against it.
The statement further denounced what it called Israel’s cowardly and unlawful attack on Qatar, affirming full solidarity with Doha and support for its response. It emphasized that targeting a neutral venue for mediation undermines international peace efforts, while commending Qatar’s composed and principled stance in the face of the assault.
A draft resolution from the Arab-Islamic summit warned on Sunday that Israel’s recent attack on Qatar and its broader policies threaten efforts to normalize ties with Arab nations.
The text, seen by Reuters news agency, states that the summit “reaffirm(s) that the brutal Israeli attack on Qatar and the continuation of Israel’s hostile acts including genocide, ethnic cleansing, starvation, siege, and colonizing activities and expansion policies, threatens prospects of peace and coexistence in the region.”
The statement adds that these actions jeopardize “everything that has been achieved on the path of normalizing ties with Israel, including current agreements and future ones.”
Al-Jazeera reported that, during a closed-door meeting in Doha on Sunday, Arab and Islamic foreign ministers declared that the security of Qatar is “an integral part of Arab and Islamic national security.” An extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit is set for Monday, when the Israeli assault on Qatar will be addressed.
Six Killed in Tent Strike as Israeli Bombardment Intensifies in Gaza City
At the meeting, as reportedly stated by participants, the ministers stressed that the Israeli strike on Doha represented a breach of international law, in addition to a dangerous escalation that threatens Arab, regional, and international stability.
Qatar’s spokesman from the Foreign Ministry, Majed Al-Ansari, said that the summit reflects broad Arab and Islamic solidarity with Doha, according to Al-Hazeera.
He further said that it underscores the firm rejection of what he described as state terrorism practiced by Israel and that Monday’s emergency summit would discuss a draft statement on the Israeli aggression, which had been prepared during Sunday’s ministerial session.
On September 9, Israel attempted to assassinate senior Hamas leaders who formed part of the negotiating team to discuss US President Donald Trump’s proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. The leaders were meeting in Doha, Qatar, the venue of which Israel bombed.
The Israeli military claimed that the air force “precisely attacked Hamas leaders” in a joint operation by the army and the Shin Bet internal security service.
Here’s Why Israel’s Failed Assassination Strike on Doha is Not Surprising
The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas said in a statement that the targeting of the negotiating delegation, “at a moment when it is discussing the latest proposal of US President Donald Trump, confirms beyond any doubt that Netanyahu and his government do not want to reach any agreement.”
According to the statement, “they are deliberately seeking to thwart all opportunities and foil international endeavors, heedless of the lives of their prisoners held by the resistance, the sovereignty of nations, or the security and stability of the region.”
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Dr. Majed Al Ansari, said Doha “strongly condemns the cowardly Israeli attack that targeted residential buildings housing several members of the Political Bureau of Hamas in the Qatari capital, Doha.”
The attack has been strongly condemned by the United Nations and by countries across the world.

Greater Israel gathers for summit to call for a more civilized genocide.
It’s unfortunate that Muslim leaders missed another golden opportunity to implement actions that could have forced the oppressors end the oppressions. I don’t see how turning the summit into Photo ops and show of solidarity with Qatar benefits those under siege, starvation, and daily killings in Palestine.
It seems the summit was meant for the self sufficient Qatar and not for helpless Gaza. How Muslim leaders choose to waste their time and opportunities should be of less concern to us. We should focus more on efforts to help out the brave Palestinians resisting the ethnic cleansing through patience & fight backs.
Prayers for those sailing to get aids into Gaza.
ALLAH suffices & knows best.
The Final Statement-Document issued by the Doha Emergency Summit of Muslim Nations gives total suppoort to Qatar for any response it may choose to take… and it gives Total support by all Nations gathered there to the ruling of the ICJ and the New York Declaration in regards to the Rights and aspirations of the Palestinian People… What is truly remarkable is the level of UNITY displayed by the Summit… The usa and israel have spent Billions of dollars, issued threats and bribes, pursued many wars over many decades to sow division and weakness in the UMMAH… This Summit reveals for all the World to see, that usa-israel have FAILED! The Summit’s closing statement reveals TOTAL UNITY.
Still “normalizing”? These people are frustratingly useless,
