Resistance security forces in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday the arrest of a group of individuals accused of coordinating with what they described as agent networks linked directly to Israeli intelligence.

In a statement, the security body said the arrests followed what it described as extensive monitoring and intelligence investigations that uncovered activities aimed at destabilizing conditions inside the besieged enclave.

According to the statement, the suspects operated under various covers while carrying out sabotage and incitement activities.

Plans to Target Police and Resistance Figures

The statement said preliminary investigations indicated that the detainees had confessed to participating in efforts to incite unrest and spread chaos across the Gaza Strip.
