The “rising tensions between Israel and France” over the ongoing genocide in Gaza is reportedly the reason for the visa suspension.
French authorities have stopped the renewal of work visas over the past six months for flight security personnel of the Israeli airline El Al working in Paris, according to Israeli media.
Sources familiar with the situation attributed the decision to “rising tensions between Israel and France over the Gaza war” as well as “anti-Israel motives within Parisian authorities,” Ynet News reported on Monday.
The report stated that the work visas allowed the security staff to legally live and work in France.
However, now that the visa renewals have been halted, “some of these workers find themselves residing in the county illegally.”
‘Never Happened Before’
Some have remained in France without valid permits, while others “have been forced to obtain diplomatic visas through the Israeli embassy, granting them temporary status to continue their stay.”
One of the guards quoted in the report said that in the past six months, “none of the employees whose work visas expired have received renewals.”

The guard noted that “This has never happened before, and no one has been granted new approvals,” adding that “It seems they are trying to end the employment of El Al security personnel in France.”
The Jerusalem Post said an Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry had confirmed to the paper on Tuesday that the Israeli embassy in France “is handling the matter in conjunction with the French foreign ministry.”
US Ambassador Mike Huckabee weighed in on the situation on X, stating, “Say it ain’t so, France. Say it ain’t so! What happened to France?”

“The severe incident was discovered this morning and occurred while the building was empty, and there was no danger to the company’s employees,” the airline said in a statement.
Israel’s Foreign Ministry condemned the incident and called on the French government “to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure the safety of the company’s staff and offices.”
Macron’s Recognition of Palestine
Transportation Minister Miri Regev claimed that the incident resulted from announcements made by French President Emmanuel Macron about recognizing a Palestinian state in September.

“Consistent with its historic commitment to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East, I have decided that France will recognize the State of Palestine,” Macron announced on X last month.
“I will make this solemn announcement before the United Nations General Assembly this coming September,” he added.
Over 61,000 Killed
Since Israel’s reneging on the ceasefire on March 18, it has killed and wounded thousands of Palestinians throughout the Gaza Strip through a bloody and ongoing aerial bombardment.
On October 7, 2023, following a Palestinian Resistance operation in southern Israel, the Israeli military launched a genocidal war against the Palestinians, killing over 61,000, wounding more than 153,000, with over 14,000 still missing.

Despite habitual condemnation by many countries around the world of the Israeli genocide, little has been done to hold Israel accountable.
Israel is currently under investigation for the crime of genocide by the International Court of Justice, while accused war criminals — including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — are now officially wanted by the International Criminal Court.
The Israeli genocide has been largely defended, supported, and financed by Washington and a few other Western powers.

France has finally come to its senses and is embracing its shell of humanity, as it does from time to time… usa is perplexed, because it has NO humanity left.. if it ever had any ( Iraqis who died on the ” Highway of Death ” as usa sold toys to their children to enable them to play at killing Iraqis, might be the ones to ask ).. To help oust the netanyahu-hunta as protests grow in israel, Palestinians should begin promising better relations with a POST-netanyahu-hunta israel… Nothing will so enrage and simultaneously geld the zionists as to have the Palestinians patronizing them… as More Nations decide to recognize the Palestinian State!
