An Israeli drone strike targeted a civilian vehicle on the Kfar Dajjal–Shoukin road in the Nabatieh district of south Lebanon on Tuesday.
According to initial information, casualties have been reported following the attack, though the exact number remains unknown, the Beirut-based Al Mayadeen news network reported.

The latest attack followed separate drone strikes on Monday, which killed two people and seven others despite a ceasefire agreement, the Lebanese Health Ministry said, according to the Anadolu news agency.
A drone struck a car at the al-Dweir eastern junction in Nabatieh district, killing one person, injuring seven others, and setting the vehicle on fire, the ministry said in a statement cited by the official news agency NNA.
Ceasefire Violations
Another person was killed when a drone hit a motorcycle in the town of Aita al-Shaab. In a separate attack, another Israeli drone dropped a small bomb near a bulldozer in the northern neighborhood of Khiam, in the Marjayoun district. No injuries were reported.

Tensions have been mounting in southern Lebanon for weeks, with the Israeli army intensifying near-daily air raids inside Lebanese territory despite the ceasefire that has been in place since November 2024.
Ongoing Strikes
Earlier on Sunday, an Israeli drone carried out a strike targeting the area between Zefta and Nmairiyeh in the Nabatieh district, Al Mayadeen reported. The Israeli army then launched incendiary munitions on the outskirts of Aitaroun, located in the Bint Jbeil district, as well as two flares on the outskirts of Shebaa in South Lebanon.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that an Israeli drone also struck an excavator in the border village of Khiam.
Israeli Drones Kill Four in Nabatieh as Beirut Urges Action against Violations
On Saturday, four people were killed and three others injured after an Israeli military drone targeted a car in the town of Dawhat Kfarroumen, in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon, according to the news network.
Earlier that day, another Israeli drone carried out an attack on the nearby town of Kfar Sir, also in Nabatieh, the report added.
Condemnation
Last week, the Lebanese President Joseph Aoun strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli violations in South Lebanon.
He urged the international committee tasked with overseeing the ceasefire to go beyond merely recording violations and to exert real pressure on Israel to halt its repeated breaches of Lebanese sovereignty, the report stated.

Israel Considering Escalations
On Friday, Israel’s public broadcaster KAN reported that Tel Aviv is considering escalating its military operations in Lebanon, allegedly to counter Hezbollah’s efforts to boost its capabilities, Anadolu reported.

The report noted that the Israeli army has killed more than 4,000 people and injured nearly 17,000 in its attacks on Lebanon, which began in October 2023 and turned into a full-scale offensive in September 2024.
Under the ceasefire, the Israeli army was supposed to withdraw from southern Lebanon this January, but it only partially pulled out and continues to maintain a military presence at five border outposts.
