Two Egyptian karate athletes raised the flag of Palestine after winning the first and second places in the World ITKF Traditional Karate Championship, Arab media reported.
Two athletes of the U-15 Egyptian youth team won against an Israeli player, who came in third place, at the world championship, held in Slovenia.
At the awards ceremony, they raised the Palestinian flag, in a gesture of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
