Israel continued its bombardment of Palestinian residential homes in Gaza, killing many, including several children, in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp.

Meanwhile, stiff Palestinian resistance seems to be growing stronger in all areas of Gaza, including the northern regions, resulting in the killing and wounding of more Israeli soldiers.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, as of December 7, 16,250 Palestinians were killed, and 43,616 were wounded, the majority of whom are women and children.

AL-QASSAM BRIGADES:

One captured Israeli soldier was killed in a thwarted operation by Israeli special force to free him.

The failed military rescue mission took place at dawn on Friday.

Qassam fighters discovered a special Israeli force while trying to advance to free one of the enemy prisoners and clashed with it.

The clash led to the death and injury of members of the force and the intervention of Israeli military aircrafts to cover retreating soldiers.

Al-Qassam confirmed that the clash also killed captured soldier Sa’ar Baruch, 25, and seized a rifle and a communication device of the Israeli special force.

ISRAEL MEDIA (Cited in Al-Jazeera): An Israeli soldier was killed a few days ago when a rocket fired from an army helicopter missed the targeted location.

WAFA: Several Palestinians were killed at dawn on Friday, and others were wounded, in an Israeli shelling that targeted the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City.

PALESTINIAN MINISTERY OF HEALTH: Two civilians were killed by Israeli gunfire during their raid into Al-Fara’a refugee camp in the city of Tubas, northeast of the West Bank.

AL-JAZEERA: Israeli occupation vehicles stormed the center of Ramallah and are widely deployed in the area of Al-Manara roundabout and the streets leading to the city center, pointing out that the occupation forces are besieging buildings there.

PALESTINIAN RED CRESCENT: PRC said that it received on Thursday 69 trucks of humanitarian aid from its Egyptian counterpart through the Rafah crossing, pointing to the difficulties and challenges faced by its teams in receiving and distributing aid.

REUTERS: Israel agreed, at the request of the United States, to open the Kerem Shalom (Karem Abu Salem) crossing “only to inspect humanitarian aid” entering Gaza through the Rafah crossing, a US official said, without giving a time frame on when the crossing would open.

ANADOLU AGENCY: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will begin a visit to the United States on Friday, during which he will hold talks on stopping the war on the Gaza Strip, according to a Turkish Foreign Ministry statement.
