Israeli Occupation Forces Kill Palestinian Teenager near Bethlehem

Azzieh’s killing has brought the number of Palestinians killed in the occupied West Bank to 20 in the past 24 hours and to 183 since October 7.

A 17-year-old Palestinian teenager succumbed on Friday to the wounds he sustained by Israeli army gunfire earlier today in the Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

Mohammad Ali Azzieh was shot in the chest as Israeli occupation forces stormed the camp in the early hours of Thursday.

The Israeli occupation forces reportedly prevented medical personnel from approaching him to administer first aid before proceeding to detain him. 

The teenager was announced dead about two hours after being detained in critical condition.

Subsequently, Israeli occupation forces handed over Azzieh’s body to the emergency medical crews of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
