France and ten other countries formally recognized Palestine at a UN summit in New York, amid Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Meanwhile, as the death toll rises, the Gaza Health Ministry announced on Monday that Israeli bombardment around medical facilities has forced the shutdown of Al-Rantisi Children’s Hospital and Gaza City’s Eye Hospital, the only public eye-care center in the besieged enclave.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed 65,382 and injured 166,985 others, the majority of whom are women and children, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
