A new poll reveals that the majority of US Democrats disapprove of Israel’s military actions in the Gaza Strip.

The poll was conducted by Gallup from November 1-21 and published on November 30. The polling ended before the recent seven-day truce deal, which led to several prisoner exchanges between the Israeli authorities and the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas.

While the slight public opinion tilts in favor of Israel’s actions, the majority of Democrats disapprove of Israel’s military conduct in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Below are some data provided by the Gallup poll:

63 percent of Democrats disapprove of Israel’s military actions in Gaza.

67 percent of adults younger than 35 disapprove of Israel’s military actions in Gaza.

64 percent of people of color disapprove of Israel’s military actions in Gaza.

52 percent of women disapprove of Israel’s military actions in Gaza.

Moreover, 64 percent of adults under 35 disapprove of President Joe Biden, and 59 percent of people of color disapprove of Biden’s handling of foreign affairs.

Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed by Israeli airstrikes across various areas of Gaza since Israel resumed its aggression after a seven-day truce.

Since October 7, over 15,899 Palestinians, including over 6,200 children and more than 4,000 women were killed, with another 41,316 wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
