The tragic death toll continues to mount as Israeli occupation forces intensify their airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, leaving a number of Palestinians dead and many others injured.

The official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that the northern Gaza Strip is witnessing violent airstrikes by Israeli warplanes.

The shelling targeted several areas in the Jabalia refugee camp, civilian homes in Beit Lahia, the vicinity of residential towers in Gaza’s Sheikh Zayed City, and the vicinity of the Indonesian hospital.

A medical source told Al-Jazeera that 63 bodies arrived at the Indonesian hospital alone since dawn on Saturday.

Israeli warplanes bombed, at dawn on Saturday, residential homes, a cultural center, and a mosque in the central and southern Gaza Strip, coinciding with a continuous belt of fire in the northern Gaza Strip.

WAFA also reported that an Israeli raid targeted a house in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, killing and wounding a number of citizens.

Moreover, Israeli warplanes bombed a cultural center in Rafah and a house in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, wounding dozens of citizens.

The Israeli warplanes also targeted the Grand Mosque in the Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip. Israeli forces targeted more than 192 mosques in the Strip, completely destroying 56 mosques, since the beginning of the war, on October 7.

The Israeli artillery also continued to target several areas in Gaza, in the Abu Iskander area and the Jabalia camp, north of Gaza City.
