Nine Palestinians were killed on Saturday as Israeli occupation forces carried out demolitions, incursions, and drone attacks across the Gaza Strip, expanding the yellow line and further violating the ceasefire agreement.

At least nine Palestinians were killed on Saturday in multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, as Israeli occupation forces continued to violate the ceasefire agreement while mediators pressed for progress toward the deal’s second phase.

According to an Al-Araby TV correspondent, two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli bombing on the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, six others were killed in Beit Lahia, and another person died from wounds sustained in an airstrike the previous day.

Demolitions in Beit Lahia and Incursion into Bani Suheila

Footage from Beit Lahia showed Israeli occupation forces demolishing several homes in the northern Gaza Strip. Heavy gunfire was also heard from Israeli military vehicles and troops operating behind the “yellow line” in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.

In the south, reporters documented Israeli military vehicles advancing and opening fire near the Bani Suheila roundabout in central Khan Yunis. Residents also captured video of Israeli forces firing live rounds as armored vehicles reached the area.

In Deir al-Balah, an Israeli D9 bulldozer and an engineering crane transporting yellow concrete blocks had arrived, indicating preparations to extend the yellow line further into Khan Yunis, according to Al-Araby.

Occupation Expands the Yellow Line

The latest Israeli expansion mirrors similar operations in other districts and is being carried out under heavy Israeli fire, raising fears that recently returned residents may once again be displaced.

The eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City — including Sheja’iyya and Tuffah, east of Zaytoun — are also reportedly witnessing ongoing Israeli advances. The yellow line in these areas has moved repeatedly and now approaches Salah al-Din Street, a central artery in the city.

According to Al-Araby, Israel is reinforcing the yellow line by placing concrete blocks under sustained fire, adding that anyone present in these zones is at risk of being targeted.

Israeli occupation forces also moved into the Jabalia camp along the yellow line boundary, where quadcopter drones dropped incendiary munitions on what remained of the tents sheltering displaced families. Additional drone fire was reported on Al-Hawja Street and near the Yemen Al-Saeed Hospital shelter.

Elderly Woman and Her Son Killed in Gaza City

Meanwhile, nine Palestinians were killed on Saturday, among them a 70-year-old woman, Rahma Yassin, and her 25-year-old son, Saeed Younis Yassin.

According to Gaza’s Civil Defense, they were shot by Israeli occupation forces while traveling to the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital for medical treatment near Salah al-Din Street.

Earlier, three Palestinians — including Rafiq Muhammad Misbah Al-Attar and Ahmed Sabri Mahmoud Al-Attar — were killed and two others wounded when an Israeli quadcopter targeted the Al-Atatra area of Beit Lahia, which falls within the zones from which Israel withdrew under phase one of the ceasefire.

Casualties in Jabaliya and Khan Yunis

Medical staff in Jabalia reported the killing of a Palestinian by Israeli gunfire outside the areas under full military control.

Medical sources in Gaza City said a critically wounded individual arrived at the Baptist Hospital after Israeli artillery fired near the Sheja’iyya Club. The location is inside the army’s designated control area.

Hospitals in Khan Yunis confirmed additional injuries after Israeli forces targeted a group of Palestinians east of the city, in an area Israel had previously vacated.

In a related incident, the Civil Defense Directorate announced the death of one of its members, Suhail Abdullah Dahman, who was killed in an Israeli attack on Friday evening. His son was seriously wounded while the two were returning to inspect their home in the Beit Lahia Project area, which lies outside the zone of Israeli control.
