In an operation described as ‘complex’, the Quds Brigades said that its fighters had attacked an Israeli military bulldozer with an explosive device, before targeting a Merkava tank with a tandem shell.
“Then, our fighters advanced, stormed the tank, and eliminated its crew at point-blank range,” the Resistance group said in a statement via its Telegram channel.

“Al-Qassam Brigades target a Zionist Merkava tank with a tandem shell south of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
“Al-Qassam fighters were able to successfully snipe a Zionist officer with a Qassam Ghoul rifle south of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
“Al-Qassam Brigades destroy a Zionist troop carrier with a Shuath explosive device south of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, leaving its crew dead or wounded, and a helicopter landed to evacuate them.”

“We carried out a coordinated mortar shell bombardment on gatherings of soldiers and Zionist military vehicles at the axes of advancement in Khan Younis.
“We bombed gatherings of Zionist enemy vehicles and soldiers in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood with a number of mortar shells.
“We targeted a Zionist military vehicle with an RPG shell in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
“Our fighters, using machine guns, as well as anti-tank and anti-personnel shells, are engaged in fierce clashes with enemy soldiers and vehicles in the Abasan Al-Kabira area, east of Khan Younis.
“We targeted a Zionist military vehicle with an RPG shell near the Doula Junction in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
“In a complex operation in the Abasan Al-Kabira area, our fighters targeted a Zionist bulldozer with a Barq explosive device and targeted a Merkava tank with a tandem shell, then our fighters advanced, stormed the tank, and eliminated its crew at point-blank range.”
