Ceasefire Death Toll Reaches 1,394
Gaza’s Health Ministry said four Palestinians had been brought to hospitals dead during the previous 24 hours, including one who succumbed to earlier wounds, while 17 wounded Palestinians were admitted.
Three bodies were also recovered during the same period.
According to the ministry, 1,394 Palestinians have been killed and 4,839 wounded since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025. Another 834 bodies have been recovered from beneath the rubble.
The overall toll since October 7, 2023 has reached 73,914 Palestinians killed and 174,952 wounded.
Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said the continuing killing of women and children represented an escalation of the “war of extermination” despite the ceasefire agreement.
Qassem criticized the ‘Peace Council’ and parties involved in mediating the agreement, accusing them of failing to hold Israel responsible for violations.
He called on Arab and Islamic countries participating in the council to adopt “a clear and practical stance” toward the continuing Israeli attacks, while maintaining that the Palestinian side remained committed to the ceasefire.
