The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, released video footage on Tuesday documenting two separate military operations targeting Israeli forces east of the Al-Sheja’iya neighborhood in Gaza City.
The operations were conducted in coordination with other resistance factions as part of the ongoing “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle.
The footage of the first operation, which was carried out in partnership with the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades – the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – shows a high-explosive anti-armor device being detonated beneath an Israeli military vehicle.
The incident took place as the vehicle was moving along a side street. The video captured the moment of impact, with thick plumes of smoke rising from the targeted vehicle.
A second segment of the video shows an operation carried out in collaboration with the Ansar Brigades. This assault targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers near Tel al-Muntar in the Al-Sheja’iya neighborhood. The footage depicts mortar shells being launched at the troops.

These operations come amid fierce and continuous fighting in Al-Sheja’iya, which has been one of the most intense battlegrounds since the Israeli ground invasion began. The neighborhood has witnessed many significant resistance attacks.
Since the start of the ground offensive on October 27, 2023, resistance factions have consistently documented their operations with audio and video. This is aimed at highlighting the losses suffered by the Israeli army and sending a clear message about their continued presence and effectiveness on the battlefield.
The Al-Quds Brigades, alongside the Al-Qassam Brigades – Hamas’ military wing – and other factions, are engaged in a sustained war of attrition. Their tactics include detonating explosive devices, directly targeting soldiers, and carrying out coordinated surprise attacks involving multiple units from various resistance groups.
The devastating war on the Gaza Strip, initiated by Israel on October 7, 2023, has resulted in over 210,000 casualties, including both killed and wounded, with the majority being women and children.
The Israeli genocide has also led to thousands of missing persons, hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals, and an unprecedented famine.
