Israeli settlers carried out a series of attacks against Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank on Friday, opening live fire on residents, assaulting civilians and targeting Palestinian ambulance crews attempting to reach the wounded.
The attacks were reported in the Bethlehem and Nablus governorates, while Israeli occupation forces separately beat and arrested an injured Palestinian in Beit Furik.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said two of its paramedics were among those injured, and an ambulance was put out of service after being attacked by settlers near Bethlehem.

Ambulance Attacked near Bethlehem
In Abu Njeim, southeast of Bethlehem, Israeli settlers stormed the village and opened live fire toward Palestinian vehicles, according to a security source cited by WAFA.
One Palestinian was wounded by live ammunition during the attack.
When a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance arrived to reach the injured man, settlers turned their attack on the medical crew.
Abdul Halim Jaafreh, director of the PRCS ambulance service in Bethlehem, said two paramedics were injured after settlers attacked their vehicle.
The settlers smashed the ambulance’s windows and sprayed its crew with pepper spray, leaving members of the medical team suffering from suffocation. The damage rendered the ambulance inoperable.
Another Palestinian sustained a broken hand after settlers attacked his truck near the university housing area in Abu Njeim.
According to WAFA, settlers subsequently blocked the village’s main road and also assaulted Palestinian Civil Defense crews.

Palestinians Injured near Nablus
Another settler attack was reported in Beit Dajan, east of Nablus.
Local sources said Israeli settlers assaulted three Palestinians in the eastern part of the village, leaving them with bruises.
In nearby Beit Furik, Israeli occupation forces assaulted a Palestinian before arresting him, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society.
PRCS crews treated the man before his detention and said they were coordinating with the International Committee of the Red Cross in an effort to gain access to him following his arrest.
Settlers also attacked the eastern area of Beit Furik and vandalized a Palestinian-owned vehicle.
Friday’s attacks come amid a sustained escalation in Israeli military and settler violence throughout the occupied West Bank.
Since the beginning of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, Israeli forces and settlers have killed at least 1,182 Palestinians, injured around 13,000 others and carried out nearly 25,000 arrests, according to official Palestinian figures.
Palestinian officials have repeatedly warned that the intensification of military raids, settler violence, land seizures, settlement expansion and forced displacement is creating conditions for the formal annexation of large parts of the occupied West Bank.
