Israel’s talk about a ceasefire is but a ‘maneuver’ aimed at Israeli public opinion only, Hamas said on Tuesday.

Others say Israel is desperate for a ceasefire due to its inability to achieve any military victory in Gaza.

Meanwhile, hundreds of Palestinians were killed and wounded in various parts of the Gaza Strip including Rafah, Khan Yunis, Jabaliya, and Deir al Balah.
