Abu Obeida Calls for Resistance
Abu Obeida, the military spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, called on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank to confront Israeli occupation soldiers and settler groups “with all their might.”
In a statement published Monday, Abu Obeida urged Palestinians not to allow Israeli forces and settlers to impose “new realities on the ground.”
Abu Obeida praised what he described as the “heroic confrontation” carried out by Ayman al-Hashlamoun during clashes with Israeli occupation forces in the Qalandiya Camp.

He also praised the actions of Abdul Halim Hammad in the town of Silwad, as well as confrontations between Palestinians and illegal Israeli Jewish settlers across various areas of the West Bank.
The Qassam spokesperson said such resistance actions are consistent with the history of Palestinian resistance in the West Bank, referencing figures including Yahya Ayyash, Mahmoud Tawalba, and Raed al-Karmi.
‘Sticks and Knives’ Equal Rockets
Abu Obeida said the resistance reflects Palestinians’ rejection of occupation and injustice.
He accused what he called “forces of injustice” of attempting for years to create a “new Palestinian” disconnected from resistance.
“Their magic will backfire on them, God willing,” he said.
He further urged Palestinians to believe that “sticks and knives have an impact on the Zionists equal to the impact of rocket barrages.”
