Iran Condemns UN Security Council Resolution
IRANIAN UN ENVOY: Iran’s representative to the UN said the Security Council resolution distorts facts and ignores the root causes of the current crisis.
He said the United States and Israel started the war with their attack on Iran on February 28 and that Iran continues to exercise its right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The envoy said more than 1,348 civilians have been killed and over 17,000 injured since the start of US and Israeli attacks, which he said damaged or destroyed more than 19,000 civilian sites including homes and hospitals.
Trump: US Will Not Stop Until Mission in Iran Is Completed
AL-JAZEERA: US President Donald Trump said Washington will not stop until it completes its mission in Iran.
He said US forces destroyed 54 Iranian vessels and 31 mine-laying boats, adding that Iran’s air force had been eliminated and that the country has been “almost completely destroyed” over the past eleven days.
Trump also said his administration is working to ensure the continued flow of oil and that global oil markets will remain stable, adding that oil prices have already begun to fall.
