Meanwhile, Colombian President Gustavo Petro has called for Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza to be stopped, urging nations of the world to “bring together weapons and armies to defend Palestine.”

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed 65,419 and injured 167,160 others, the majority of whom are women and children, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
