Israel Targets Hospital
An Israeli strike near Hiram Hospital in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre wounded 13 hospital employees on Sunday, as Israel intensified attacks across southern Lebanon.
Lebanon’s Health Ministry said the Israeli attack struck an area adjacent to the hospital, injuring 13 members of its staff and causing extensive damage to the facility.
In a statement, the ministry said the latest damage adds to previous destruction sustained by the hospital as a result of repeated Israeli attacks.
The ministry praised the hospital’s medical teams for continuing to serve residents despite the risks and renewed its call on the international community to halt escalating Israeli attacks that disregard international humanitarian law and international norms.
Earlier in the day, Israeli forces had targeted a building near the hospital after threatening to strike it.
The attack came as Israel continued violations of the ceasefire agreement reached on April 17, according to Lebanese officials.

Hezbollah’s New Operations
Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced several operations targeting Israeli military infrastructure, troop concentrations and settlements in northern occupied Palestine.
The movement said it launched a rocket barrage at 11:45 a.m. targeting Israeli infrastructure in the settlement of Nahariya.
Less than an hour later, at 12:30 p.m., Hezbollah announced another rocket attack targeting infrastructure in the Kiryot area north of the occupied city of Haifa.
Earlier in the morning, resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers at a helicopter landing site in the settlement of Shlomi using an attack drone.
At approximately 4:00 a.m., Hezbollah also launched a rocket barrage targeting Israeli troops and military vehicles in the town of Bayyada in southern Lebanon.
The operations followed a series of attacks carried out Saturday night, including a guided missile strike that targeted an Israeli Merkava tank in Bayyada and another rocket attack against concentrations of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles in the same area.
