ISRAELI MILITARY: Nine more Israeli soldiers and officers killed in fighting between Palestinian resistance and the Israeli army. This takes the number of Israeli soldiers killed since the start of the war on October 7 to 286.

AL JAZEERA: 15 Palestinians were killed when Israeli shelling struck two houses in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Many more were killed and wounded in Israeli shelling which was targeting the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Martyr’s Hospital in the central Gaza Strip.

AL JAZEERA: Israeli war planes are launching a series of raids on Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

AL JAZEERA: Chinese state media announced that Zhae Jun, the Chinese government’s special envoy for the Middle East, will visit the region next week to push for a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel, AFP reported.

CCTV: The Chinese channel “CCTV” said in a video clip which was posted on its social media accounts on Sunday that Chai “will visit the Middle East next week, to coordinate with various parties for a ceasefire, protect civilians, revive the situation and promote peace talks.”

THE WASHINGTON POST: The Washington Post quoted US officials as saying that the US administration negotiated a deal for Americans citizens to leave Gaza on Saturday for Egypt. The newspaper later quoted an official at the crossing, saying that no American citizens were able to cross into Egypt on Saturday.

WHO: The Regional Director of the World Health Organization, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mandhari, told Al Jazeera that the evacuation of seriously ill patients from Gaza hospitals is tantamount to a death certificate.

GAZA HEALTH MINISTRY: The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that 10 paramedics were killed and 27 others were injured as a result of being directly targeted by the Israeli occupation forces.

The Ministry added in a statement that the occupation forces destroyed 23 ambulances since the start of the aggression and bombed 15 hospitals in the Gaza Strip, directly or indirectly, two of which stopped service.
